Genesis 17:1 KJV.
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.”

*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ Looking at our bible verse for today, one would have wondered why did God ask Abram to “walk before me, and be thou perfect.” at 99 years old!!
☆☆☆ What has been happening between Abram and God all these years? In the language of today, one might interpret this statement to mean “Abram, get born-again, surrender your life to Christ.”

☆☆☆ You will recall that God had called Abram in Genesis chapter 12:1👇

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee”.

☆☆☆ In essence, God was asking him to separate himself from the idols of his father’s house and from his kindred.. Abram had obeyed God partially because he left with Lot. Read Genesis 13:1.
☆☆☆ Later in Genesis 16, the same Abram got himself involved with Hagar, his wife Sarai’s handmaid. Hagar gave birth to Ishmael for Abram. This Abram did without asking God because the bible recorded that Abram listened to Sarai, his wife. Read Genesis 16:2.

☆☆☆ When Abram was 99 years old, God now said to him “walk before me, and be thou perfect”. In essence, God was saying: drop those things which had been standing between you and I, all these years.
☆☆☆ You will also recall that it was in that same meeting where God changed the name of Abram to Abraham. Read Genesis 17:5. One may be right to conclude that Abraham was now ‘born-again’ at 99.

☆☆☆ Beloved, how old are you now, when will you have time for God? Remember this: those things that are engaging your time right now, not allowing you to have time for God; you will soon leave them behind here on earth.
☆☆☆ The young man or young lady of today will soon get old. Wrinkles will soon replace that beauty. Read I Peter 1:24.
☆☆☆ Young lady, you are causing distractions today because of your beauty, you will soon be passing by unnoticed.
☆☆☆ Beloved, very soon, that precious car of yours that you treasure and cherish so much will be available to drive but you will no longer be available.
☆☆☆ That new shirt you just bought, you may never wear it. That house you cherish so much, you will soon leave it behind. Your best food will soon be left uneaten; tea not taken.
☆☆☆ Your phone calls will soon remain unanswered. You will no longer be available to pick your calls.
☆☆☆ Those things that are so important to you right now, which you hold on tightly to, they will soon become unimportant.
☆☆☆ Your elegant and latest shoes will soon be abandoned. Your credentials, titles, positions, etc. will no longer matter or relevant very soon. Read Philippians 3:7-9.

☆☆☆ Beloved, one day, you will stand before the creator to see how many souls you have directly or indirectly sent to hell or heaven. Read Hebrew 9:27.
☆☆☆ Note this beloved: some have contributed more to the kingdom and yet didn’t have much life to spend. Many left at 29-45 years. Read Isaiah 57:1.
☆☆☆ You need to ponder on this: why has God spared your life? Stop and think. Each day brings us closer to the grave. Read Romans 13:11-14.
☆☆☆ Today is the day of salvation, don’t delay beloved. Read 2 Corinthians 6:2.

*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to destroy my heaven with the way I live my life here on earth.
2. Please Lord, open my eyes to those areas of my life where I need to make amends.
3. I receive divine grace and boldness to redeem my time.
4. Father, please delete from my life whatever will separate me from you Lord.
5. I refuse to be a Methuselah who lived and wasted 969 years.
6. I receive the grace to be a Enoch who walked with God.
7. Father, don’t allow my ways of life to be a disappointment to you.
8. I will live the rest of my life for you Lord.
9. Please Lord, take over my life, restore me and use me for your glory.
10. Heaven at last Lord. Please help me oh God.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for somebody out there, whatever may be standing between you and God, the Lord shall take away from you today in Jesus name.
May you not get to heaven only to discover that you have lived a wasted life.
I decree, the death of Christ Jesus on the cross shall not be in vain over your life.
May the Lord grant each and everyone of us reading this message today, the grace to walk before God and be perfect in Jesus name.
May you not leave a wasted life here on earth.
According to Ephesians 5:16, may the Lord grant us all the grace to redeem our time in Jesus mighty name.

Create time for God from today beloved.
