NO ROOM FOR THE DEVIL. – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin 

TEXT:
Revelation 12:7-8 KJV.
“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,”
[8] “And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.”

☆☆☆ Beloved, please read those two verses again and again for a better and a deeper understanding.
☆☆☆ War arose in heaven and who was the cause? The devil of course.
☆☆☆ Beloved, did it ever occur to you that the frequent disagreements and fighting between couples, even among siblings, could have been orchestrated by the devil!!
☆☆☆ If the devil could cause war in heaven, then be prepared to confront him in battle: in your marriage, in your business and in whatever gives you joy.
☆☆☆ Beloved, the devil is no respecter of persons or positions. If he could come for Jesus, he can come for you too.
☆☆☆ He came to tempt Jesus in the wilderness, read Luke 4 and Matthew 4. In the Garden of Gethsemane, he also came. Jesus wanted the cup to pass over him but thank God that Jesus allowed the will of God to prevail. Read Matthew 26:36-46.

☆☆☆ Satan is an enemy of peace, an enemy of anything good. Where there is harmony, he takes delight in causing chaos.
☆☆☆ The bible describes the devil as very subtle, read Genesis 3:1. He will always approach his would-be victims as a ‘friend’. Read the story of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3:1-24.
☆☆☆ This is why the bible warns that we shouldn’t be ignorant of the devil’s devices. Read 2 Corinthians 2:11.
☆☆☆ If you allow the devil a little opportunity to enter into a place, you will be shocked when he makes that place his permanent habitation.
☆☆☆ You will remember the story of Job, when God gave the devil a little permission to afflict him. God just wanted to prove to the devil that Job was committed to serving God.
☆☆☆ We all read the story of Job and how the devil later tormented him. Thank God that the devil was not given the permission to touch the life of Job. Read Job 1:8-22.

☆☆☆ As a couple, once you notice a little disagreement, leading to a serious argument between you and your spouse; quickly look for a way to resolve it before the devil takes full advantage of it.
☆☆☆ When you are angry and you cannot control it, the devil has already stepped in.
☆☆☆ Hear this, husband and wife had an argument that could easily be resolved, before they knew what was happening; the devil stepped in. The husband became so angry and he stabbed his wife to death.

☆☆☆ The good news however is that Satan was defeated in heaven and peace was restored.
☆☆☆ If only you can confront the devil on the altar of prayers, you too shall become victorious.

*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, grant me the discerning spirit to recognize when the devil is trying to take advantage of a situation in my life.
2. Oh you devil and your agents, I gain victory over you all in Jesus name
3. Please Lord, don’t give the devil any slightest opportunity to afflict me.
4. In the name of Jesus, I shall not become food for the devil.
5. Oh God my maker, build a wall of fire round about my household in Jesus name.
6. Father, let my entire family become untouchable for the devil and his agents.
7. Devil, my life has no parking space for you, keep moving.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
On this day, I decree concerning you, you will not become a prey to the devil in Jesus name.
May you not cooperate and give permission to the devil to afflict you.
I decree and declare, your prayer life will not become too cold for the devil to operate in Jesus name.
In the name of Jesus I decree, the fire of God on your altar of prayers shall not go down in Jesus name.
In any way you may be struggling on the altar of prayers, may the Lord revive your prayer life in Jesus name.
Every seed of discord, hatred and rejection that the devil may be planning to sow in the garden of your life, I decree, the fire of God shall roast them all into ashes in Jesus name.
The heaven overcame the devil, you too shall surely overcome in Jesus name.
Jesus defeated the devil, your victory is sure in Jesus name.
May you not fall for the wicked to rejoice in Jesus name.

You are already a winner.
