Nigerians are suffering due to APC leadership failure and we’re going to retire their administration in 2027 – Aregbesola
Rauf Aregbesola, the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has slammed the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for failing Nigerians, citing widespread hunger, insecurity, and infrastructural decay. He made this statement at the unveiling of the ADC Secretariat in Ilorin, Kwara State, emphasizing that the ADC is the only credible alternative ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Aregbesola accused the APC of incompetence, greed, and poor leadership, saying they’ve reduced governance to personal enrichment and political intimidation. He also criticized the APC for silencing opposition voices using state machinery .
The ADC leader expressed optimism that the growing discontent among Nigerians will translate into victory for the party in 2027, saying, “The hatred of Nigerians for the ruling party is obvious, and the party that will harvest that unpopularity is the ADC”.
Former Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, also spoke at the event, describing the ADC’s emergence as a “new dawn” in the state’s political landscape .
