Nigerian Passport Rises to 88th in Global Rankings

The Nigerian passport has moved up to 88th on the Henley Passport Index, a modest climb from 91st earlier this year and 97th in 2023. Despite the rise, it still grants visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to only 45 countries. Nigeria now ranks alongside Ethiopia and Myanmar.

Seychelles leads in Africa, while Singapore tops globally.
