Reportedly, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has reached a verdict on the Libya-Nigeria incident, according to Al-Kass, a Saudi Arabian media outlet.

The decision states that Nigeria will be awarded 3 points and 3 goals, while Libya will face a b.an from playing at home for 3 matches, in addition to a fine.

CAF’s disciplinary board has requested both federations to submit all relevant documentation regarding the incident by October 20.

The decision follows the contr0versy surrounding the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match between Libya and Nigeria, which Nigeria boycotted due to alleged inhumane treatment by Libyan authorities.

The outcome of the investigation is still pending official confirmation from CAF, but initial reports suggest a favorable outcome for Nigeria as the country seeks justice for the alleged m!streatment.
