NEVER FIGHT WITH A MAN WHO HAS NOTHING TO LOSE – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
*TEXT*
1 Kings 3:26 KJV.
“Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it”.
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ We are all familiar with this story. Two women slept in the same room. One slept over her baby and killed him. She woke up at the middle of the night, while the other woman was fast asleep and exchanged her dead child with the living child of the other woman. In the morning when both women woke up, each was laying claim to the living child.
☆☆☆ When the case got to king Solomon, he used the wisdom of God to identify the real mother of the living child.
☆☆☆ Solomon ordered that the living child be divided into two and half given to each of the two women.
☆☆☆ However, the mother of the living child protested and offered to release the child to the other woman.
☆☆☆ The Bible says👇
“…for her vowels yearned for her son…” – 1Kings 3:26.
☆☆☆ The other woman however insisted that the living child be “divided”.
☆☆☆ Hear her speak 👇
“…let it be neither mine nor thine but divide it…” 1Kings 3:26.
☆☆☆ Solomon now knew immediately that the second woman was not the mother of the living child.
☆☆☆ He commanded that the living child be therefore given to the first woman.
☆☆☆ Beloved, whenever you hear somebody saying, “if it must scatter, so be it”, know immediately that such a fellow doesn’t have anything at stake.
☆☆☆ The first woman “whose child was alive”, had something at stake; the living child.
☆☆☆ There are some set of people today who love to cause crisis within a once peaceful church or organisation.
☆☆☆ If the church or organisation scatters, they will opt out and join another.
☆☆☆ Such people don’t have anything at stake in that organization.
☆☆☆ There are those however who have laboured so much for that organization to become great, they will never be interested in any crisis to break the organization.
☆☆☆ This is because “their bowels yearn for the organization”.
☆☆☆ Beloved, have you laboured so hard to get to where you are today? Beware of the “other woman who killed her child”.
☆☆☆ There are those who have failed in business or in marriage, such people will never be happy with those whose businesses or marriages are successful and peaceful. Please becareful with such people.
☆☆☆ There is this story I want to share to really support the message of today.
☆☆☆ Two traders were going to different towns to sell their wares. One was carrying palm oil/red oil on his head, while the other was carrying sharp sand. They were coming from opposite directions and met on a narrow bridge; too narrow to take two people at a time. One person must wait for the other to pass first.
☆☆☆ The man carrying red oil entered the narrow bridge first and got midway when the other man carrying sharp sand stepped on the bridge. Each of them was now claiming the right of way. This resulted into a serious argument which eventually led to a dangerous fight between both of them.
☆☆☆ In the process, their wares got spilled on the ground. After the fight, the man selling sharp sand bent down, picked up his container, packed his sharp sand and continued his journey.
☆☆☆ The man with red oil had lost everything because there was no way he could gather his spilled oil.
☆☆☆ There is this Yoruba adage coined from this story: “Oniyangi ma ba temi je, epo ni mo ru”. This literally translated means, “you carrier of sharp sand, please beware, I am carrying oil”.
*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, please deliver me from the polluters and destroyers of potentials and destinies in Jesus name.
2. My father, my father, please don’t allow me to partner with those looking for glories that they can derail.
3. Father, don’t permit polluters of joy to gain access to my peace in Jesus name.
4. Oh God my creator, don’t allow the exchangers of glory and star to locate mine in Jesus name.
5. Father, please, let my lost glory be restored from today in Jesus name.
6. Father, don’t allow the wicked to exchange the sweetness of my life with bitterness in Jesus name.
7. Oh God my father, barricade the source of my joy against the attacks of the devil and his agents in Jesus name.
8. Devil, keep off, my life is not your habitation. I have no parking space for you.
9. Father, grant me the discerning spirit and spiritual eyes to identify polluters and destroyers of destinies in Jesus name.
10. I refuse to be unfortunate as I journey through life in Jesus name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for you today and I decree, wasters of glorious destinies will not gain access to your life in Jesus name.
Those whose lives are damaged beyond repairs will not gain access to your life in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, polluters of destinies will not corrupt yours in Jesus name.
Once again, I decree, agents of destruction will not cross your way in Jesus name.
Your happy and peaceful family will not become dead while still alive in Jesus name.
Your joy will not turn to sorrow.
The wicked will not discover the source of your joy in Jesus name.
Exchangers of glory will not locate yours for evil exchange in Jesus name.
I decree, the sweetness of your life will not be exchanged with bitterness in Jesus mighty name.
Whatever the enemies have stolen or manipulated out of your reach shall the Lord graciously restore to you in multiple folds in Jesus name.
