Rita Daniels, the mother of popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has accused billionaire politician Ned Nwoko of allegedly bribing police officers to assault and detain her children.

This accusation follows Regina Daniels’ earlier outcry in which she claimed that her husband, Ned Nwoko, ordered the arrest of her elder brother and sister. According to reports, the actress alleged that Nwoko wanted to force her back into their marriage and send her to rehabilitation over alleged substance abuse issues.

Regina, who has publicly expressed her disinterest in continuing the marriage, questioned why matters between them had escalated to such an extent.

In a viral video circulating online, Rita Daniels alleged that Nwoko sent police officers to physically attack and detain her children. She appealed to the public to help secure their release, stating that they had been held in custody for over seven hours.

Calling out for justice, Rita Daniels said:

“Nigerians, please come and help me. Senator Nwoko gave them money to beat my son to a pulp. This is an abuse of power.”

Eyewitnesses also reported that police officers fired tear gas to disperse people gathered at the station.
