NDLEA seizes 2,059kg of drugs, arrests 44 in Edo

Edo NDLEA arrested 44 suspected traffickers and seized 2,059.83kg of drugs, including cannabis, tramadol, methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine, in November.

A 0.58-hectare cannabis farm in Etsako West was destroyed.

Seventeen convictions were secured, 126 cases are pending, and 21 clients received rehabilitation.

NDLEA urged public support to curb drug networks ahead of the yuletide season.
