A team from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development is visiting Imo State to monitor, evaluate and review activities of the National Social Investment Programme( NSIP) in the State.
The visit is part of the mandatory exercise on the on-going NSIP meant to ensure implementation is in line with national objectives.
The stakeholders that accompanied the Abuja monitoring and evaluation team from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs,Disaster Management and Social Development include,
â–ªProgram Managers of all NSIP in Imo State(GEEP, Homegrown school feeding.
â–ª NPower and Conditional cash transfer).
â–ª Director of NOA, aggregators.
â–ª SUPEB officials, and the
â–ªIndependent Monitors coordinator
Already, the team has visited Ikeduru and Isiala Mbano local governments.
The Imo State focal person and Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on Humanitarian Affairs and Sustainable Development Goals, Princess Christina Ude disclosed that the visiting team is working closely with officials of her department to accomplish the visitation of all the 27 local governments in Imo State.
