Brig Gen CU Akagu and Brig Gen CB Wande are the first couple of military officers to attain the rank of Brigadier General at the same time.

Brig Gen Cecilia U Akagu from Ankpa LGA of Kogi State is married to Brig Gen Clifford B Wande from Enugu Ngwo, Enugu State.

They met when they were commissioned as officers.

They’re not the first commissioned officers in the Nigerian Army (NA) to be married, but they’re the first and currently the only couple to reach the rank of Brigadier General together.
