Manchester United in Talks to Sign Super Eagles Captain Wilfred Ndidi

Manchester United are reportedly in talks to sign Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi from Turkish club Beşiktaş before the close of the winter transfer window.

Former Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers said the Nigerian midfielder is open to returning to England, a year after leaving Leicester City. Ndidi spent nine years at Leicester, making over 300 appearances.

United are said to be seeking midfield reinforcement, with Ndidi viewed as experienced competition and cover for Casemiro. The 29-year-old’s versatility—he can also play in central defence—along with his tackling and ball-winning ability, makes him an attractive option for the club.
