Lord’s Chosen GO Suspends Son After Wedding Over Breach of Church Doctrine

Pastor Lazarus Muoka, General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, has suspended his son, Benhail Muoka, following the latter’s wedding ceremony. The suspension, announced during a church service, stemmed from actions Pastor Muoka deemed inconsistent with the church’s values and teachings.

Benhail recently tied the knot with Precious Duru in a lavish ceremony that drew attention online for its modern and seemingly secular style. Videos from the event showed elements that many claim violated the modesty standards preached by the ministry, prompting widespread reactions.

In a sermon shortly after the wedding, Pastor Muoka emphasized the importance of church discipline, saying, “No one is above correction, including my son. I will not compromise the truth.” The move has sparked debate among members of the church and the wider Christian community.
