The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently reshuffle his cabinet, warning that some of the ministers currently serving in his administration could end up destroying his government.
Speaking during a prophetic declaration in Lagos, Ayodele said, “Sack people who are supposed to be sacked,” stressing that certain ministers lack the vision, competence, and sincerity needed to deliver on their responsibilities.
According to him, retaining such figures in government would only weaken Tinubu’s administration and frustrate the expectations of Nigerians.
The cleric explained that many Nigerians are already losing patience due to economic hardship and poor governance. He noted that if ministers who are underperforming or working against the government’s success are not removed, Tinubu’s administration risks being remembered for failure rather than progress.
Primate Ayodele also warned that some ministers could create unnecessary political crises within the government, leading to disunity and public distrust. He urged Tinubu to act decisively, insisting that a leader must not hesitate to let go of individuals who have become liabilities.
His warning has sparked debate on social media, with some Nigerians agreeing that a cabinet shake-up is long overdue, while others argued that Tinubu should focus on policies rather than constant political restructuring.
