JUST IN; President Tinubu’s ADC appointed Monarch
The Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to President Bola Tinubu, Lt. Col. Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf has been named as the new traditional ruler of the ancient town Ilemona town in the Oyun local government area, Kwara South senatorial district of Kwara state.
While the kingmakers in the town kept sealed lips on the development, a reliable community leader who sought anonymity confirmed the appointment, saying that the process had commenced with the appointment of the President’s ADC as the new traditional ruler of the town.
Lt. Col. Yusuf is the son of the late monarch, Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi, the Elemona of Ilemona in the Oyun local government area of Kwara state.
Lt. Col. Yusuf’s new role as the monarch of Ilemona town is expected to bring his leadership and experience to the local community, fostering development and unity, the source said.
“As the new king, Lt. Col. Yusuf will oversee the traditional and administrative affairs of Ilemona Town, continuing the legacy of his predecessors while working towards the prosperity of the town.
