Captain Aliyu Umar Hajji, a dedicated serving officer in the Nigerian Army, was tragically killed yesterday, Friday 13 March 2026, along with two other personnel by bandits on the Dange-Alkaleri road in Bauchi State while performing his official duties.
The fearless officer lost his life in an ambush during active service to the nation. His death is a great loss to his family and the entire country.
