Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Governor of Gombe State, has issued an immediate order for the closure of all nightclubs in the state.

According to a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, this action stems from numerous complaints from the public regarding the recurring immoral, criminal activities, and security breaches occurring within these nightclubs.

The affected establishments include the following nightclubs: “Jami’a Gidan Wanka” situated on Mile 3 Yola Road, Gombe; “White House Theatre (Babban Gida)” located at New Mile 3 Yola Road, Gombe; “Gidan Lokaci General Merchant” positioned on Mile 3 Reservoir Road, Gombe; and “Farin Gida Entertainment II” situated on Kalshingi Road, Wuro Karal, Gombe.

Also encompassed by this order are “Gidan Zamani Entertainment New Mile 3, Yola Road, Tumfure, Gombe”; “Albarka Entertainment” found near Hara Form on Wuro Karal Bypass, Gombe; and “Tauraren Wash” located at Trailer Park, Bauchi Road, Gombe.
