Bishop Matthew Kukah has stated that Niger!a must look beyond the use of m!litary force in f!ghting B0ko Haram and focus more on non-kinetic approaches that address the group’s corrupted ideology.

In a video shared by Symfoni TV, Bishop Kukah stated that while soldiers fight with the hope of winning and returning home safely, members of B0ko Haram have a different mindset.

He said the B0ko Haram terror!sts believe that they are fighting a religious jihad.

Bishop Kukah said B0ko Haram terror!sts have been made to believe that dying in battle will guarantee them a reward in paradise, including promises of virgins waiting for them. This, he said, makes them more willing to sacrif!ce their lives
