Primate Ayodele, speaking in a recent Facebook video, warned that a powerful group is working against President Tinubu and used the word “nemesis” to describe the force he believes is aligned to undermine him.
He insisted this opposition is not new — he traced it back to 2015 — and argued that the same actors who once pushed former President Jonathan aside have regrouped and are now directing their energy at Tinubu.
In his own words: “Those who are in Buhari government are the people who are fighting Tinubu.
Do you understand that essence of my nemesis? I said nemesis will fighting Tinubu. 2015, These are the set of people who push Jonathan out of the way. And there are the set of people come together too to fight you to push you out of the way. So that’s my meaning of nemesis. That nemesis will fight’s Tinubu government.
And honestly Tinubu did well than Buhari but because of the nemesis. So whatever he’s doing now people will not even appreciate him I don’t know if you understand.
You have to seek the face of God and just on a normal ground sincerely those people 10 million of them cannot defeat Tinubu But if you don’t fight that syndrome of nemesis underline that word they will deal with him, I’m not saying you should come and see me.

Recasting his remarks, Ayodele portrayed Tinubu as a leader who, despite performing better than his predecessor in some respects, is being systematically deprived of recognition and support by entrenched rivals.
He urged spiritual vigilance and prayer, suggesting that confronting the “nemesis” requires more than political maneuvering — it requires seeking divine guidance and overcoming a destructive pattern he described as a syndrome.
He warned that even if millions oppose Tinubu, those opponents should not be underestimated unless their underlying malign influence is identified and countered.
