JAMB rejects Lead City University law admissions
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has disowned the admission of candidates into the Law Faculty of Lead City University, stating that the programme remains under a five year suspension.
The board said the admissions were not processed through the Central Admissions Processing System, the only authorised platform for tertiary institution admissions in Nigeria
JAMB explained that it received several complaints accusing the board of negligence for allowing candidates to be admitted into the university’s law programme despite the ongoing suspension.
Describing the situation as unfortunate, the board reiterated that any admission conducted outside CAPS is illegal and invalid.
It therefore advised prospective candidates to avoid accepting admission offers that are not processed through CAPS and urged them to verify their admission status through the official portal before proceeding with registration.
