Ibadan Residents In Shock After Discovering Woman’s Corpse In Suspected Ritual Killing
The deceased, identified only as Iya Dupe, was reportedly last seen alive the previous night when she went out to buy bread.
Residents of the Aba Alfa area in Boluwaji, Ibadan, Oyo State, were thrown into shock Thursday after the gruesome discovery of a woman’s body, depicting the victim of a ritualistic killing.
The deceased, identified only as Iya Dupe, was reportedly last seen alive the previous night when she went out to buy bread.
Neighbours said her sudden disappearance raised alarms, culminating in the horrific discovery.
Her body was found with vital parts, including her head, breasts, and internal organs, brutally removed.
In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, residents were seen crying and described the scene as “terrifying” and “unbelievable,” raising fears of ritualistic practices in the area.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Police were seen cordoning off the scene while evacuating the victim’s remains to their van.
Residents are urging authorities to act swiftly to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure the community’s safety.
However, no arrests have been made as of the time of filing this report.
