“I Will Not Be Silenced — Afuye Exposes Alleged Plot Against His Life”

A MATTER OF LIFE, SAFETY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY

This is no longer a mere political disagreement. It has gone far beyond issues of party loyalty, internal wrangling, or ideological differences. What I have faced is a clear threat to my life a deliberate and coordinated attempt to silence me permanently, simply because I have refused to be part of a false narrative, and because I have consistently spoken the truth, without fear or bias.

Let it be known to the general public, security agencies, civil rights organizations, the media, and every peace-loving citizen of Nigeria and Ekiti State in particular:

> If anything whatsoever happens to me Comrade Idowu Afuye whether by accident, disappearance, illness under suspicious circumstances, sudden arrest, or death Hon. Akin Fasae and Senator Cyril Fasuyi must be held responsible.

This is not a careless accusation or a political blackmail it is a statement backed by my personal experience, close encounters, and the failed attempt on my life which I survived by divine mercy and the unexpected presence of a third party.

The events leading up to my abduction, phone seizure, and illegal remand attempt are too calculated to be mere coincidence. The invitation to a private meeting at night, the strange disappearance of Mr. Dayo (PA to Senator Fasuyi), the sudden emergence of unknown persons, the attempt to implicate Rt. Hon. Aribisogan, and the fast-tracked movement to court all point to one thing: I was marked for elimination.

Therefore, I am putting the Nigerian public and security apparatus on full notice:

I have not threatened anyone.

I have not attacked anyone physically or politically.

I have only spoken the truth based on facts presented to me by those who once claimed to be victims themselves.

I have no reason to fake or stage-manage my experience, as my life, family, and future are at stake.

I am a law-abiding citizen, a committed political stakeholder, and a voice for justice and equity. I refuse to be silenced by fear, violence, or intimidation.

Let it also be stated that any attempt to blackmail me, discredit my name, or falsely arrest me again will be considered part of this same orchestration and all fingers will continue to point in the direction of Hon. Akin Fasae and Senator Cyril Fasuyi, until a thorough, independent investigation is carried out.

I am speaking now, not just to protect myself, but to set a public record. If anything happens to me, the world already knows where to look.
