“I will not apologise for choosing purpose over politics” – Betty Akeredolu,Ada Owere 1
In a world where compromise is often mistaken for strategy, I have chosen a different path — one guided by conviction, service, and impact. Purpose is not always convenient. It does not bend to pressure, nor does it seek applause. It simply demands courage.
Every step I have taken, every voice I have raised, and every cause I have stood for has been driven by a deep commitment to people — especially women, girls, and underserved communities who deserve better.
Politics may come with expectations. But purpose comes with responsibility.
And I choose responsibility.
If standing firm for what is right makes me different, then I embrace that difference. Because real leadership is not about pleasing everyone — it is about doing what truly matters.
