A man has sparked widespread reactions online after a screenshot emerged showing him allegedly rejecting a job offer upon discovering that his prospective boss was a woman.
The viral screenshot shows a conversation between the man and a representative of NovaEdge Consulting Ltd, who informed him that he had been selected for a job role. The message was signed by the company’s Human Resources Manager, identified as Mrs. Evelyn Hart.
After receiving the offer notification, the man reportedly questioned the use of the title “Mrs.” When the recruiter asked if there was a problem, he replied that he could not work under a woman and decided to decline the offer.
According to the circulating chat, the man later blocked the recruiter, ending the conversation abruptly.
The incident has since gone viral on social media, with many users expressing shock, criticism, and disbelief over his decision, while others debated gender roles and professionalism in the workplace
