The sad development was announced on Tuesday via the X handle of the Bingham University Alumni Doctors, which confirmed that until her passing, Dr. Oboyi was a Senior Resident Doctor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at BHUTH.Classified advertising space

In the post, the alumni body expressed profound grief over her loss, describing her death as a painful blow to the hospital community.

“The entire BHUTH mourns. It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear colleague, Dr. Salome Oboyi, a Senior Resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, whose sad demise occurred two days ago following a battle with Lassa fever,” the statement read.

Dr. Oboyi’s passing has left colleagues, friends, and patients heartbroken, as she is fondly remembered for her dedication, professionalism, compassion, and selfless service to humanity.
