How My Pastor Collected ₦6.1 million For My Canada Visa And Told Me To Go To A Cafe For Finger Print- Victim

According to a recent video by Brekete Family on Friday, March 13, 2026, a Nigerian man identified accused a pastor of defrauding him of ₦6.1 million under the pretext of securing a Canadian work visa. Ala made the allegation during a complaint session on the Brekete Family programme hosted by Ordinary Ahmed Isah.

According to the victim, he was introduced to Pastor Shalom in 2024 by another cleric, Pastor K Gabriel of the Act of Believer Ministry. Ala said the pastor claimed he could facilitate a job and visa in Canada through a company contact.

He explained that after collecting several documents, including his international passport data page and passport photographs, the pastor instructed him to go to a café to take his fingerprints using ink on plain paper. Ala said he complied, scanned the fingerprint impressions, and sent them to the pastor as directed.

The complainant added that he continued paying money based on repeated assurances that the visa process would be completed within three to four months. However, he alleged that the pastor later became evasive, often telling him he was still “working on something.” Ala said he eventually realized he had been deceived and brought the matter to the programme seeking intervention.

His Words: “ He said I should go to a cafe, and I should tell them to give me a plain paper with ink, so I can thump print on that paper”.
