House of  Reps member Sponsors Governor’s Media Aides for Training in Dakar

In a move described as both strategic and benevolent, the lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has sponsored some members of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s media team to an international media retreat in Dakar, Senegal.

The retreat, themed “Refresh, Reload, Recreate, Dakar 2025,” is designed to sharpen the skills of government media aides, equipping them with fresh insights into modern communication, digital engagement, and professional ethics.

The selected participants departed Osogbo for Lagos on Wednesday before embarking on the trip to Dakar. Over the course of the retreat, the aides will be exposed to intensive sessions aimed at helping them learn, unlearn, and relearn values that are vital to effective public communication.
