Hope Rising Club of Ifon Demands Immediate Resolution of Olufon Obaship Crisis

……Appeals for  Lawful Resolution after Six Years Without a Monarch……

The Hope Rising Club of Ifon has called for a quick resolution of the crises bedeviling the Olufon stool.

In a press release issued and signed by the club’s President, Mr. Samuel Olugbade and the General Secretary, Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu, the club calls for strict adherence with the Olufon chieftaincy declaration in relation to the already established rotational sequence among the ruling houses in the resolution of the matter.

The club noted that Ifon town, the headquarters of Ose LGA has been in a rudderless state for close to six years in the absence of a monarch.

While urging the Ondo State Government and all the concerned stakeholders in Ifon town to ensure that the Ifon Obaship crises get resolved without further delay, the club however calls for a peaceful approach in a manner that will not only be very fair, just and lawful, but be seen as such as what is worth doing, is worth doing well.
