Hon. Kolawole Babatunde Honours Distinguished Personalities at St. James Anglican Church Installation Ceremony
The former Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Rural and Community Development and a former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde (Amaechi), today honoured two distinguished individuals, Chief (Dr.) Pius Ajobiewe, the Ooru of Korowa-Oka and Dr. Felix Ale, the Director of Media and Publicity of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), at the installation ceremony of Chief (Dr.) Pius Ajobiewe as the Baba Ijo and Mrs. Rachael Ale, the mother of Dr. Felix Ale, as the Iya Ijo, of St. James Anglican Church, Korowa-Oka in Oka-Akoko.
In his address, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde praised Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who was represented at the occasion, for his significant strides in the development of Ondo State. Hon. Kolawole lauded the Governor’s commitment to infrastructure and social welfare improvements, which have positively impacted the lives of the residents.
Hon. Kolawole congratulated the newly installed church chieftains, urging them to rededicate themselves to the service of God and humanity.
He emphasized the importance of their roles in fostering spiritual growth and community development, highlighting their potential to inspire others through their dedication and leadership.
The installation ceremony coincided with the thanksgiving for Oka Day 2024 celebrations by the Olubaka of Oka, Oba (Dr.) Yusuf Adebori Adeleye, OON, and his chiefs. The event drew an array of dignitaries, including the Commissioner for Diaspora and Regional Integration in Ondo State, Prince Boye Ologbese who was conferred with an Award of Excellence by the Church for his love for the work of God, and the Director-General of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization Foot Soldiers (LACO-FS), Hon. David Ajobiewe, among others.
