Gunmen Kill 10 in Separate Plateau Community Attacks

At least ten people have lost their lives in fresh attacks on communities in Plateau State between Friday and Saturday, November 1, 2025.

According to reports, seven persons were killed in Kwi community, Riyom Local Government Area, while three others were gunned down in Pushit community, Mangu Local Government Area.

A community leader, Rwang Tengwon, confirmed the Kwi incident, alleging that suspected Fulani militia launched the attack on Friday night. He added that one resident was also killed on his farm the following day, with another assault reported later that evening.

In Mangu, the Mwaghavul Development Association condemned the Pushit killings in a statement signed by its Director of Public Affairs, Friday Derwan.

The association urged security agencies to intensify efforts to halt the recurring violence and protect innocent citizens across the state.
