Governor  sacks Top special adviser

on national assembly matters

 

Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, has sacked Rabi’u Kaugama as Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, effective immediately.

The move, announced on Tuesday in Dutse, comes with immediate withdrawal of all rights and privileges attached to the office, as well as orders for an immediate handover of government properties.

In a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday in Dutse, the state capital by the Public Relations Officer, Office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Ismaila Dutse, signed by Bala Ibrahim, Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, said the sack is effective immediately.

“With this development, all rights and privileges attached to his office as Special Adviser to the Governor on National Assembly Matters have been withdrawn,” the statement said.

The directive also ordered the former Special Adviser to hand over all government properties in his possession without delay.

“These items should be returned to the office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State,” it added.
