Governor Fubara Disbands Rivers State Pension Committee, Accountant General to Assume Responsibilities

The Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara GSSRS, has authorized the immediate disbandment of the Rivers State Pension Committee.

As a result, the Office of the State Accountant General will now assume the responsibilities of the Committee. Members of the former committee are hereby directed to transfer all committee properties and assets in their custody to the Administrative Director of the Committee.

His Excellency, the Governor, will in due time appoint a new committee to oversee pension matters.
