Fubara tasks newly sworn-in commissioners on service delivery, assigns portfolio

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has urged newly appointed commissioners to give their best in service to the state.

He gave the charge on Wednesday during the swearing-in of the first batch of five commissioners at Government House.

The governor noted that the officials had already proven their readiness for the task after successfully passing what he described as one of the most rigorous screening exercises conducted by the Rivers State House of Assembly earlier in the week.

According to him, the lawmakers had clearly outlined the responsibilities expected of them during the screening process.
