FG Announces July Petrol‑Pricing Summit

The Federal Government, through the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), has scheduled a petrol pricing summit for July 23–24, 2025.

The summit aims to address fuel price instability and set clearer standards following the sector’s deregulation. NMDPRA’s Executive Director, Francis Ogaree, said the event will help ensure fair pricing and product quality across the country.

This comes as fuel prices fluctuate between ₦840 and ₦970 per litre, with recent adjustments following Dangote Refinery’s price drop. The summit is expected to bring key stakeholders together to find lasting solutions.
