The well-publicized defection of Agboola Ajayi from the ruling APC to the PDP suffered its first reality shock on Sunday as majority of the members of the APC in Ese Odo Local Government Area rejected his inducements and refused to follow him to the PDP.
The Secretary of the APC, Ese-Odo LG chapter, Ajayi’s own local government chapter, Hon. Tob Loko, dissociated himself and his people from what he described as ” …betrayal of leadership and attempt to undermine the government
Hon. Loko had rebuffed the monetary and material entreaties offered by the defecting Ajayi to lure the unwilling members of APC in his local government chapter to follow him to his new party.
Loko told Agboola Ajayi that himself and other good members of the party in the local government who had tolerated him for this while will not join him in his way to political destruction.
