ENGR. IFEOLUWA OYEDELE CONGRATULATES ONDO STATE AT 50, HAILS AIYEDATIWA’S DRIVE FOR ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION

Engineer Ifeoluwa Oyedele has extended warm congratulations to the government and people of the state on the historic milestone, describing the 50th anniversary as a celebration of resilience, growth, and boundless potential.

In his goodwill message released to Our Heritage Reporter Online News o Sunday morning in Akure, Engr. Oyedele reflected on the journey of Ondo State since its creation, noting that the state has evolved into a key player in Nigeria’s socio-economic landscape through the hard work, innovation, and determination of its people.

He commended all the past and present leaders, haied Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for what he described as “visionary and forward-thinking leadership,” particularly highlighting ongoing efforts toward the development of the Ondo Seaport and the proposed refinery project.

According to Oyedele, these initiatives have the potential to redefine the state’s economic future.
“The Ondo Seaport project is a game-changer that will open up the state to global trade, attract foreign and local investments, and create thousands of jobs for our youths. Likewise, the refinery project will not only boost industrialization but also position Ondo as a major energy hub in Nigeria,” he said.

Engr. Oyedele stressed that these strategic projects signal a deliberate shift from a largely civil service-driven economy to a more diversified and industrialized one. He noted that with the right policies, infrastructure, and continued political will, Ondo State is well on track for sustainable economic transformation.

He also praised the administration’s focus on infrastructure development, investment promotion, and policies aimed at improving the ease of doing business in the state. According to him, these steps are laying a solid foundation for long-term prosperity.

“As Ondo celebrates 50 years, this is not just a time to look back at our achievements, but to look forward with confidence. The groundwork being laid today will define the next 50 years of progress, prosperity, and opportunity for our people,” Oyedele added.
