Edo & Ondo 2020: No mask, no voting – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said voters in Edo and Ondo states must comply with COVID-19 measures or be disqualified from the voting process.

INEC disclosed this in a document released Monday in Abuja which was tagged, “Policy on Conducting Elections in the Context of the Covid-19 Pandemic”, and signed by its Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.

The Edo State governorship election is billed for 19th September while the Ondo State governorship election is scheduled for 10th October this year.
