DSS Urged to arrest Buhari’s former aide over alleged link with terrórist

The Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) has been urged to arrest former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad over his alleged link to terrör organizations ravaging Nigeria.

Popular Nigerian human rights activist and advocate for good governance, Omotayo Williams has appealed to the DSS to arrest Bashir Ahmad following the reported arrest of his associate, Waspapping also known as Sani or Sarki by the DSS.

According to reports, Waspapping, a northern muslim social commentator, notorious for islamism, bigotry, and ethnic slurs especially against the Igbos, was reportedly arrested by the DSS a few days and allegedly being investigated over alleged link with terrórist organizations such as Boko Haram and ISIS operating in the northern Nigeria.

Hence, Omotayo Williams calls on the DSS to arrest Bashir Ahmad citing his relationship with Waspapping.

I urge the DSS to immediately apprehend and investigate @BashirAhmaad.

His reported close association with Waspappinngg, who is currently under investigation for alleged Boko Haram and ISIS links, raises serious national security concerns”, Omotayo Williams stated.

The former presidential aide who served under Nigeria’s immediate past president, late Muhammadu Buhari had previously described himself as an “Islamic extremist”, and stated that he was proud about it.

Recently, he seemingly incîted the northern Muslims against popular Plateau State christian cleric, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, accusing the pastor of “crossing the dangerous line” and being provocative in his remark.
