As the month of August begins, frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and aspirant for the chairmanship position of the Ondo State chapter of the party, Dr. Olajide Owoka, has extended heartfelt New Month greetings to the good people of Ondo State, urging them to remain hopeful, united, and focused on building a greater future under the progressive leadership of the APC.
In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists in Akure on Thursday, Dr. Owoka congratulated the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his recent and resounding victory at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, describing it as “a reaffirmation of the will of the people and a victory for democracy, justice, and the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Dr. Owoka noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s triumph at the tribunal is not just a personal or political win, but a strong testament to the confidence the people of Ondo State have in the APC and the Governor’s style of purposeful, inclusive, and development-driven governance.
According to him, “As we step into this new month, I extend my warmest greetings to every citizen and resident of Ondo State. This is a season of renewal — of hope, of purpose, and of alignment with the greater vision of the APC. Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory is a beacon that reassures us that truth and service to the people will always prevail.”
Reaffirming his commitment to the ideals and growth of the APC in the state, Dr. Owoka emphasized that the party must continue to deepen internal democracy, build unity, and uphold integrity as it prepares for greater political engagements. He expressed confidence that the party, under a reformed and visionary leadership, will continue to command the trust of the people and deliver good governance across the board.
He stated, “As a passionate believer in grassroots mobilization, equity, and accountable leadership, I remain committed to leading our party to a stronger, more united, and electorally formidable position. The APC in Ondo State must be people-focused, inclusive, and truly progressive — that is the direction we must follow.”
Dr. Owoka called on party members, stakeholders, and the general public to continue to support the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa and work together to ensure that the APC retains its position as the party of choice in Ondo State.
He concluded by praying for peace, prosperity, and progress for every family in the state in the new month.
