‘Don’t use my child for your shenanigans’ – Dayo Amusa warns Lizzy Anjorin
A feud has erupted between Dayo Amusa and Lizzy Anjorin, sparked by the former’s child’s birthday party and escalating into a fiery exchange of accusations and threats.
The conflict began when Amusa held a lavish party to celebrate her son’s first birthday.
A video from the event, featuring fellow actresses Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe, went viral. The controversy ignited when some observers claimed the song being performed by the live band contained subtle insults directed at Lizzy Anjorin.
In response, Lizzy Anjorin, in an Instagram live session, launched a vehement attack against Dayo and Iyabo.
She accused them of disrespect and levied curses upon their children, using derogatory language and alleging that the musical performance was a deliberate attempt to mock her.
Amusa, however, did not take the attack lightly. She responded with a stern and fiery voice note, which she shared on her TikTok account. In it, she issued a direct warning to Lizzy to stop mentioning her child’s name.
Dayo accused Lizzy of repeatedly involving her in unnecessary drama and firmly warned her to keep her son out of any online commentary. She revealed that she has intentionally kept her distance from Lizzy because of Lizzy’s “history of public controversies”.
“I do not want to have issues with you. We are both parallel lines that can never meet. We are not friends. You called me out after I delivered my baby. You also said you wanted to visit the baby and me, but I declined honourably because of your fracas stuff,” she said.
“Let this be the last time in your entire life that you will ever mention my baby’s name in your video. I do not joke with my child. If you try it again, my reaction will be outside social media, and you will not like it.
“Stay on your lane and respect yourself. Don’t use my child for your video shenanigans. If not, people will feel pity for you by the time I am done with you. I do not ever want to have anything to do with you.”
