Ebonyi Ambassadors Movement has fulminated against the attitude of some misguided youths who are de-marketing Ebonyi State on social media platforms and likened such as Esau who sold his birthright for a morsel of bread.

In a press release made by the vocal group, it’s National President, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu, stated that no sane person will deface his house and expect outsiders to adore it. He maintained that Ebonyi State has been experiencing unprecedented democratic dividends since the return to democracy as Governor after Governor has worked hard to surpass the record of it’s predecessor.

*He averred that “in Ebonyi State, it is Crystal clear to all and sundry that there is a massive infrastructural development that has opened up Ebonyi State to Global competitiveness under the leadership of Engr David Umahi.”*

Amb Nwachukwu expressed sadness that some persons have taken it upon themselves to de-market the state despite the overwhelming evidence that attests to the fact that Ebonyi State of today is better than where it used to be.

According to him, “The mobile phone and the social media is one of the most powerful tools in the hands of the young people today, therefore, it behoves on the youths to use it positively in attracting investors who will establish businesses and Industries, this creating massive employment for the youths, I therefore urged Ebonyi Youths to use the social media and project Ebonyi positively to the world as great things are happening in Ebonyi which is not in the news.”

He advised the youth to draw a curtain between politics and good Governance and charged and ointe to them that irrespective of their Political or Religious inclination, it is duty bound on them as Ebonyians to show the world what is happening in Ebonyi State and to pass the right message that will attract investors to the State.

He further called on Ebonyi National Assembly members to eschew politics and synergies with the state government in attracting dividends of democracy to the state.
