Bandits Allegedly Beg for Forgiveness as Tinubu Announces Arrival of 4 U.S. Attack Helicopters to Fight Insecurity
Fresh reports circulating online claim that some bandit groups have allegedly sent messages appealing for forgiveness following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s announcement that four American-made attack helicopters will soon arrive in Nigeria to strengthen the country’s fight against insecurity.
Although the claims about the bandits’ plea remain unverified, the development has sparked widespread reactions across the country, with many Nigerians expressing renewed hope that the tide may finally be turning against armed groups terrorising communities.
