Bandits Abduct Ex-Councillor’s Father ,Shoot Resident in Fresh Attacks

Armed bandits on Sunday night invaded Nasarawa Mainika ward in Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, where they stormed a private residence and abducted Alhaji Dan-Baba Nasarawa, the father of former ward councillor Hon. Anas Abdu (Alhaji).

In a related attack on the nearby Kwantara community, the assailants shot one resident and abducted another person before fleeing the area.

Residents say fear is spreading as bandit attacks continue to hit rural communities, with calls growing for increased security presence to protect lives and property.
