Army Arrests 54-Year-Old Boko Haram Fuel Supplier in Borno

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have intercepted and arrested a suspected Boko Haram fuel supplier in Borno State.

The suspect, identified as Thomas James, 54, was apprehended on September 23 at the Forward Operating Base, Ngwom, while attempting to transport 23 bottles of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) concealed in a bag along the Maiduguri–Gamboru Ngala road.

Military intelligence later confirmed that he was part of Boko Haram’s fuel supply network, providing critical logistics to the terrorist group.

The Army has intensified crackdowns on insurgent collaborators, warning that anyone aiding terrorists in any capacity will be tracked and punished.
