AKOKO NORTH BY-ELECTION – ONDO COMMISSIONER TACKLES BUNMI TUNJI ON TAKING ONE SIDE, INSTEAD OF GIVEN A LEVEL PLAYING GROUND TO ALL
The commissioner for water resources in ondo state has caution the minister of interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo on his stands ahead of the coming by-election in the AKOKO north federal constituency.
In a statement signed by the commissioner, he expressed that the minister should consider the rotational agreement between the two local government right from unset and to as a result, give a level ground to all aspirants instead of taking stand behind a particular aspirant from Akoko north west.
According to him, My worries about your awalokan movement as been championed by the Youth of Akoko North East on this platform and others are coming home to roost.
With few weeks left to the bye election now has the Youth addressed their minds to these posers? (1) Who’s the symbol of this your struggle? Your preferred person amongst the avalanche of aspirants from Akoko North East who have offered themselves for the election particularly on the platform of APC?
The poser must be addressed from the viewpoint of the Hon. Minister who has adopted his cousin and Domestic PA, one Ife Ehindero from his immediate Constituency as his preferred candidate for the post not minding his shenanigans of deceiving his self imposed and handpicked leaders in Akoko North East as being for everybody and being for nobody.
(2) What has the movement done to address the ‘Crabology’ Political idiosyncrasies and tendencies of most Political Leaders in Akoko North East that has brought us to this level of going to Okeagbe to juba ehoro before Akoko North East determines it’s own destiny?
(3) What has led to the reality of the Hon. Minister successfully foisted a system of divide and rule of Akoko North East to the extent that the Political figures both past and present from the Local Goverment don’t have common fronts on any political issues and ditto our traditional institutions in Akoko North East have been so divided that some of our chiefs have sold their future generations to the slavery of an Okeagbe Octopus we have created for ourselves?
(4) What’s the movement doing to address the problems of persons like Mumuni the Chairman of APC in Akoko North East who will always defer to the Hon. Minister rather than to the Distinguished Senator from Akoko North East on matters pertaining to Akoko North East same to our chiefs who are now putting the proverbial beads in the waist of omo olomiren
(5) What’s the movement doing to firm up support for the Distinguished Senator Ipinsagba from the Local to assume his leadership role in the local government rather than disparaging him? Afterall a DistinguishedSenator takesprecedence over a Minister. Iren a ee joa noju (6) What’s the strength of the movement to win the bye election for Akoko North East regardless of the empty ego of the Hon.
Minister and his dry headed stooges from Akoko North East without relying on the weaknesses of the Minister and his cohort?
These are just few of the posers we need to address as this tomorrow 21st Oct. is the bye election. Oo ti ojo oja koyin oja.
This is not the time to trade blames amongst the leaders and the you our Youth. And this is not the time to dwell on who’s no 1 or 100 in our Local Government.
This is the time to determine your future. As a person I declare that I fully identify with your struggles and I know some stupid and idiots from Akoko North East who are political scavengers will come forth but I have stated my position.
May God liberate Akoko North East from our self imposed bondage and slavery. The Federal Constituency, State and Nigeria belong to all of us.
