Aiyedatiwa Clears ₦38 Million Medical Bills for 39 Ondo Residents

In a remarkable demonstration of compassion and commitment to citizens’ welfare, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the release of ₦38 million to settle accumulated medical bills for 39 indigent residents across the state.

The beneficiaries, many of whom are battling life threatening ailments such as kidney disease and other chronic conditions, received the financial support under the Ondo State Health Support Initiative, a social intervention scheme established to ensure that no citizen is denied access to critical healthcare due to financial constraints.

During the presentation of the cheques, government representatives reaffirmed Governor Aiyedatiwa’s steadfast dedication to a people oriented administration anchored on empathy, inclusion, and responsive governance. They emphasized that the initiative underscores his administration’s unwavering resolve to enhance healthcare accessibility, protect the vulnerable, and promote human dignity through targeted social support programmes.
