ABACHEKE GRAND FINALE AT OMEUDO’S 20 MILLION EGBEMA FESTIVAL SCOUTING FOOTBALL COMPETITION.
It was an amazing and heart lifting moment as Abacheke hosted the grand finale of the multi million naira talent hunting tournament, sponsored by the ebullient peace maker of the East of the Niger Delta, Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima MFR, erstwhile member representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, and Oru West Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
*IJELE* has once again demonstrated his passion for peace building by uniting Abacheke, a town we fondly call “Abuja of Egbema.” Just as Abuja represents the unity of Nigeria, Abacheke stands as the center of Egbema towns, and if it is in disarray, the entire clan is affected. Omeudo understands this and has chosen football as a tool to strengthen peace, unity, and tranquility among the people.
The 20 Million Egbema Festival Scouting Football Competition was a resounding success. The final clash saw Umueze village lift the trophy 🏆 after defeating Umulakpu Village 1–0.
It was truly a win-win for Abacheke (Abuja) as the people rejoiced, celebrating Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima MFR (Omeudo) for giving their festival a vibrant and joyful touch.
The competition drew together mothers, fathers, elders, children, and youths, all of whom affirmed that the tournament was a purposeful initiative aimed at fostering unity and building lasting peace in Abacheke.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Uju Kingsley commended Abacheke for hosting a peaceful tournament and reassured them of his continuous support and steady outreach to the community.
