A Challenge to Dr. Wole Oluyede: What Have You Done for Ekiti?

Dr. Oluyede, you have repeatedly criticized Governor Biodun Oyebanji, claiming that “nothing is happening” in Ekiti State. But before throwing stones, let us ask you directly:

1. What tangible project have you contributed to the development of Ekiti State?
Roads? Schools? Hospitals? Community centres? Where are they, and who can testify?

2. How many lives have you personally lifted in Ekiti?
With all your exposure, connections, and medical profession both within and outside Nigeria, how many Ekiti youths have you sponsored, mentored, or raised to become successful?

3. Why do you only appear when it is time for election?
Every cycle, you come, make promises, run for office, lose, and disappear again—leaving no structures, no legacies, and no footprints.

4. Who are you to challenge a performing governor?
Governor Biodun Oyebanji has verifiable projects spread across the state roads under construction, township roads commissioned, schools renovated, teachers recruited, and empowerment programmes ongoing. These are facts on the ground, not empty words.

5. Is attacking Ekiti’s progress your only strategy?
Leadership is not built on constant criticism but on vision, sacrifice, and service. If you have done nothing to build Ekiti, then you lack the moral standing to dismiss the work of someone who is daily delivering for the people.

Conclusion

Dr. Oluyede, Ekiti people are enlightened and discerning. You cannot insult their intelligence with blanket statements while offering nothing in return. If you truly love Ekiti, show us your legacy first before condemning others. Until then, your words remain political noise, not a credible alternative.
