Iran allows Iraqi Oil Tankers Through Strait of Hormuz
Iran has granted special permission for several Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz following repeated requests from Baghdad.
Iraqi President Nizar Amedi confirmed that Iranian authorities had facilitated the movement of Iraqi oil vessels in recent days, amid continued disruption and security concerns in the strategic waterway.
The move could provide a temporary lifeline for Iraq’s vital oil exports as traffic through Hormuz remains far below normal levels.
