Manchester United are the most successful team in Community Shield history, having won the traditional curtain-raiser to the English season 21 times.
Arsenal are second on the all-time list with 17 Community Shield victories, while Liverpool have claimed the trophy 16 times.
The figures are highlighted by the Premier League ahead of Sunday’s 2026 Community Shield between Arsenal and Manchester City at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
United’s 21 triumphs put them four ahead of Arsenal and five ahead of Liverpool, with Everton next on nine wins.
Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have each won the Community Shield seven times, while Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers have four victories apiece.

Arsenal have an opportunity to close the gap on United when they face Manchester City on Sunday after securing the Premier League title last season.
City, meanwhile, will be seeking an eighth Community Shield success after winning the FA Cup.
The Community Shield was founded in 1908 and is contested between the Premier League champions and FA Cup winners. If one club wins both competitions, the Premier League runners-up take part instead.
Manchester United’s record 21 victories remain the benchmark, with Arsenal and Liverpool the only other clubs to have won the competition more than 15 times.
