“Why I don’t make friends with men” — Lady reveals

A woman who shared on social media why she doesn’t make friends with men—claiming that many eventually reveal romantic or s£3ual intentions—caused a lot of backlash.

The woman claimed in a widely shared video that her own experiences had persuaded her that most guys don’t approach friendships with women without expecting more.

She claims that it frequently only takes a few weeks for a man’s genuine motivations to become apparent.

“Let me tell you the reason why I don’t make friends with men. You see men, give them two weeks. Just two weeks into that friendship, you will find out their true intentions, and their intentions na always to sleep with you.”

She went on to say that although some men might take longer to make their intentions known, she thinks the results are typically the same.

“Only two weeks though. If the guy is a bit pretentious, well wait one month.”

The woman explained that she only maintains relationships with two males she has known for a long time through school, which is why she has very few male friends.

“As I did, I don’t have male friends. The only male friends I have, two of my male friends, just two male friends that we’ve been good and we’ve come a long way.”

Even those connections, she explained, are based on mutual respect and a long-standing acquaintance rather than being exceptionally intimate.

“They may be my course mates and it’s not like we’re friends, friends, you know, but we do relate well, you understand.”

In closing, the woman insisted that she no longer thought men approached friendships with women solely for platonic purposes.

“I don’t make friends with men. Their intention is never pure. Their intention not to ever be pure.”
